Yes, take pleasure in each other and the animals you get to name!” God gave only one “No!” command—sort of like a “Wet Paint” sign. This one read: “Danger: Lethal Tree. Keep Out!” God clearly said, “You may freely eat any fruit in the garden except fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil”. But our first parents failed to heed the warning and decided to make a personal investigation.

When they failed to follow the warning, everything changed. It was the darkest day in human history. On that day, the entire human race went from innocence to sinfulness. Paul framed it this way, “When Adam sinned, sin entered the entire human race. Adam’s sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned” (Romans 5:12Romans 5:12
